Homework and Online Learning

All homework is online via Numbots, Times Tables Rock Stars and Spelling Shed. For support with accessing Numbots, Times Tables Rock Stars or Spelling Shed, please speak to your child's class teacher.

New spelling words are set every Monday after completing the test for the previous week. Reading records are taken in on Friday. There are daily rewards given to children who are accessing TTRS and Spelling Shed.

We also send home key objectives with example questions and useful links at the start of  each term so you can do additional work at home on paper if you want.

There is a weekly Lower School Homework Club on a Wednesday for those that want to attend or who don't have access to a device at home.

Homework Expectations

- Maths Practise 3 times a week, found on Numbots and later in the year, Times Tables Rock Stars.

- Spellings found on Spelling Shed, practised 3 times a week.

- Regular reading (reading records are checked by teachers daily with rewards and incentives for children who reach certain milestones. See the rewards page on our website for further details).

- Reading records are expected in every day so they can be changed when needed.
