Bullying
At Broomhill we are committed to ensuring all children feel happy, are safe and are in a good place for learning. We are aware that at times, some or all of these things may be impacted if children are feeling bullied; this can be in school or out of school. Bullying at Broomhill is never tolerated. It is important, should your child be in this situation, to act upon this by reporting what is happening so that school can put support in place to ensure it stops!
The children at Broomhill have created a definition of bullying, based on national definitions:
‘Bullying at Broomhill is when someone, or a group of people, repeatedly and deliberately hurt another person or group of people verbally, physically or emotionally to their face or online, where an imbalance of power is involved.’
If you feel you need to report bullying, please speak to any member of staff, report it to the designated bullying leads: Miss Collett or Mrs Willis, or email reportbullying@broomhillj.com
