School Values
Values & Aims
Here at Broomhill, we have 7 values. These values contribute to developing well-rounded learners. Our aim is that all children successfully demonstrate these values throughout their time here at Broomhill, showing they are confident, self-motivated, independent learners, ready to move to their next step.
Children will understand what respect looks like, they will feel valued and respected in school and will respect others’ views and opinions. Children will respect the right to learn, allowing themselves and others to do their best.
Children will know what responsibilities that have as a member of the school local community. They will take responsibility for their own actions and learning.
Children will display creativity in their work and thinking. They will feel confident to take risks in their learning and will approach tasks creatively.
Children will develop the social and communication skills needed to work and play effectively in collaboration with others.
Children will show resourcefulness through recognising what they need to set to achieve their goals.
Through determination and perseverance, children will show they have the resilience to tackle problems and cope with the emotional challenges of school and life. They will be resilient in how they deal with mistakes and achieve their goals.
Children will feel a sense of belonging. They will demonstrate inclusion by valuing the diversity within our school and the wider community.
